Our story of the week is The Little Engine That Could. Our main focus this week is on the plot and characters of the story. We are also working on sequencing events. We will revisit nouns and their job in a sentence.

SCHOOL CLOSING
Due to the significant number of students and staff
who are sick with the flu, we will NOT have classes
tomorrow, Friday, March 20th.
Maintenance and Custodial staff are working to disinfect our facilities.
Families are encouraged to spray objects at home and
especially objects taken from school to home, such as back packs,
pencil boxes, books, etc. with a solution of 1 ounce chlorine
bleach and 16 ounces water.
Tomorrow's absence will be made up by holding classes on Tuesday, April 14th.
