Our story of the week is The Little Engine That Could. Our main focus this week is on the plot and characters of the story. We are also working on sequencing events. We will revisit nouns and their job in a sentence.

Please continue to work on recognizing coins and their value and telling time. We will continue Chapter 13 on adding sets to 10.
Penmanship and Writing
We are beginning each sentence with a capital letter and ending it with the correct punctuation. We are writing in our journals everyday. Students are creating their own sentences.
