I am so proud of my students!

I am so proud of how my students handled today's weather situation. They stayed together, answered when I called out their names, and sat very well while we were in the gym.

They did have questions on whether or not it was a drill or if it was real and how long we had to stay there. I was honest with them and told them that there was a storm coming and we were going to the gym to stay safe until it was over. I am happy to report that they all stayed calm. No one became worked up or got upset. Most importantly there were no tears and no complaining!

We practiced this drill earlier in the year and everyone knew what to do. I am
very impressed with all of our students and staff members.

Give your brave kindergartner a pat on the back!
