Reading
Our story of the week is Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Our main focus of the week is discussions and telling sentences. We are also working on retelling stories using complete sentences.

We will learn about it as a beginning and ending sound.

Math
We will continue Chapter 10 on solid and plane figures. We will begin fractions. Equal parts, fourths, and halves.
Penmanship and Writing
We are beginning each sentence with a capital letter and ending it with the correct punctuation. We are writing in our journals everyday.

20th Our February B-day Party for Ben, Payton, & Cali
27th 911 Visits—We had to reschedule due to the ice storm.
Our Valentine’s Celebration was a huge success! Thank you for all the treats! I'm sorry I had to duck out early for a dentist appointment, but they were left in great hands. As a matter of fact, I will be out Monday and Tuesday and Mrs. Hensley will be here for me then as well. Be on your best behavior! I'll see you Wednesday.
