Happy Halloween

What a Happy Halloween! We had a great day. The kids were wonderful during the parade. I hope everyone enjoyed the it as much as we did in my room. What a great idea Mrs. Mayo! We can't wait to do it again next year...

My camera played some nasty tricks on me today, but all in all the pictures turned out great. Although, some have weird effects that I didn't give them. Spooky, huh. Please enjoy the slide show. I hope everyone has a safe Halloween!!!

Clothes Drive

The nurse is in need of clothes. If your child has had an accident and changed clothes here at school please wash and return them as soon as possible, so they can help someone else.

If you have clothes that you would like to get rid of the nurse would be happy to take them off of your hands. We are always in need. Size 3T and up will be helpful!

Thank you for your help!

Pizza Hut Book-it Club

Book-it Club

I'm sure some of you remember Book-it from when you were younger. Well it's back again this year. Your child will earn a FREE personal pan pizza from Pizza Hut when he/she turns in his/her completed October Book Log that was sent home at the first of the month. In order to earn a pizza you have to have read 20 books this month.

The log must be turned in by the last day of each month. Pizza Hut will not allow us to give coupons in November for October, unless your child is absent on the last day of the month.

You may turn in the completed log whenever you've read all 20 books.

Book-it runs from October to March. If you complete the log all six months you will be an All-Star Reader for an extra reward.

Happy Reading!
The more you read...
the better you get!

Our First Field Trip

We had such a wonderful time at the pumpkin patch! The kids were so well behaved and we couldn't have asked for a prettier day. I have to say that it was the best field trip I've been on in my 11 years of teaching. It was actually scary how smoothly things ran. We were complemented on the having the students wear red shirts. It really helped us keep up with our group. Please check out our slide show. You couldn't have wiped any of our smiles off. I hope you enjoy watching it!

Special thanks to Mrs. Wilson and Miss Temples for assisting us on our trip. As you will see from the pictures it was really hard work!
